Port of Call- Tallinn, Estonia

Ok, so being a child of the 90’s I have to admit that I was excited to visit Estonia just because of the movie Encino Man. Tallinn really impressed us. What a cool place. We had to stop at the touristy restaurant because it looked so unique. The vibe was definitely medievally. We sampled the dark honey and dark herb beers. What really interested us was how the menu was created by reading medieval texts and then recreating the foods from the 15th century. How neat!

This house struck us for being so out of place but somehow perfectly fitting. We were just walking past the street market and it popped into sight.

This sign just cracked me up.

Estonia is definitely a place we would like to spend more time in. We didn’t have much time there but it left us intrigued. Why isn’t more popular?
