Cruising, part 2

Turns out we are most definitely cruise people. All 4 of us had a blast, from the hilarious crew to the all day every day pizza and soft serve. The kids club was nonstop fun and we walked and walked and walked to burn off the mid morning nacho snacks. Turns out you can really get your steps in on a gigantic ship. Plus, the stops each day in new places are exactly how we like to travel. One day in a city is usually enough for us and then we get to enjoy the ship on our way to the next stop. Heck ya! We even enjoyed the formal nights. The 4 of us got all fancied up and ate at the formal dining restaurant. We tried escargot and we all liked it. Never ever would I order it for my little one at a fancy restaurant so that was am unexpected perk.

A few tips to think about. Our embarkation was super easy and painless because we started at a port that wasn’t the main port of embarkation. This wasn’t on purpose so were a bit confused until we figured it out. We missed the Captain’s welcome but ended up getting to do it when we arrived at that port over a week later. It was kind of fun to see all the people embarking and excited to start their cruise as we were wrapping up ours. Also, we noticed that the closer to the end of the cruise the sales kept getting better and better but when all the new people came on the prices when right back up to normal. So get your souvenirs on the last day!

Next up..the cruise.
